While working as the SEO Copywriter for, KeyWebConcepts.com, I performed content support and SEO for this client. This included copyediting the original content, conceptualizing new keywords and phrases throughout the website to target their desired audience, and setting up a Google Analytics account to monitor the website’s search result progression.
While a former staff writer for ConsumersAdvocate.org, I conceptualized different graphic ideas to include within my research articles. This particular article I was assigned, Flower Delivery Services, was a topic with an intricate explanation. I decided that a creative video within the article would be a helpful visual of the service. After interviewing floriculturists and researching flower delivery facts, I developed the video script and content ideas to incorporate within the visuals. Ava Griffiths, a busy entrepreneur, needed a new website layout and content refresh. As both a licensed clinical social worker and certified doula, Griffiths lacked the time to update her website and write descriptions of her additional services.
Griffiths’ services focuses on health and wellness, where she envisioned a holistic look for her brand. I started by replacing the outdated stock photos with new, stimulating images, primarily the landing page. The original content throughout the website focused only on Griffiths’ therapy service. As a certified doula and coach, I created additional pages to incorporate and explain those services.
After completing all of the content, I performed an SEO audit of the website to check for opportunities of organic traffic growth. Griffiths had social media accounts that tied to her individual doula and coaching services, as well as recognition on Psychology Today. I encouraged Griffiths to link her website to those respective accounts, as well as shortening her URL to make it easier to search. We were able to convert ‘Sacred Earthbound Journey’ to SEJ Therapy, and made the prior domain name serve as a redirect to the new one.
After much success from WeddingWire and social media channels, wedding photographer and cinematographer, Carmelo DeMitri, reached out in need freshly written content for his new website. After interviewing DeMitri of his services and target audience, I crafted website copy that matched his voice and creative personality. I also assisted his team with on-page SEO strategy, ensuring each webpage was properly optimized for both Puerto Rico and California wedding destination searches.
